What do I need to bring?

The only things you need to bring are your dog's...

• Leash

• Food

• Treats

• Medication (If applicable)

• Fast Eater Bowl (If applicable)

We provide everything else.

How do I sign up and book my dog's reservation?

1. Create an account through Gingr by clicky the red box that says "sign up form"

2. Upload or email their current vaccine records

3. We send you a confirmation email once we have everything we need

4. To rebook log into you Gingr account and request a reservation

What shouldn't I bring?

• Bedding

• Toys

• Irreplaceable belongings

• Big bones and rawhide chews

• Regular bowls

How soon should I book my reservation?

As soon as possible. We do book up quickly for holidays and weekends. We normally are complete booked for holidays 2-3 months in advance. During non peek times we can take reservations as soon as a week in advance. Next day and same day reservations may be declined due to us already being full.

Do you take puppies?

Yes, but they have to be old enough to be fully vaccinated. Tis is usually at least 16 weeks.

Can I come see the place before I commit to anything?

Yes, please text or email to set up an appointment to come visit. They are by appointment only. We do not do visit at time of drop off. Please schedule a time in advance if you would like a tour.

Do you take unaltered dogs?

Yes

What is the drop off and pick up procedure like?

• Park at the top of the property neat the trailer and white picnic table.

• Ring the bell on the green sign once. Someone will come out to assist you .

• Please wait behind the red and yellow chain. Even if it is down on the ground.

• Please do not let children out of the car at pick up and drop off.

• When dropping off please make sure your dog's collar or harness is secured tight enough so they can not slip/pull out of it.

• All dogs need to be on a leash

• If we can not hold your dog(s) and belonging at the same time please leave them on the white picnic table and we'll bring them inside after we put you dog away.

• When dropping off and picking up please tell us you dog(s) names.

Do you take dogs in heat?

Yes

Can I see where my dog is going when I drop them off?

No, we can not have clients in the yards around the other dogs. Our insurance will not allow it and it causes dog fights. Your dog will most like not stay is the same yard during their stay. We move them to different yards everyday, so see where they are when they're dropped off won't matter.

What do you do with the dogs when it's extremely hot/cold?

All of the yards have water buckets, shaders, fans and misters. For heat sensitive dogs; they come inside in the middle of the day. If it's over 100 degrees here. We bring all of the dogs inside.

For the cold we have bed with blankets and propane heaters for all of the dogs. If it is below 30 degrees and snowing we bring all of the dogs inside.

What happens if there is a fire and you need to evacuate?

We have an evacuation plan with a team of people to help as well as multiple evacuation sites. On site we have a van that can hold 20 dog as well as a heavy duty truck to tow one of the three trailers as well as staff and neighbors vehicles. In the event we have to evacuate we will be contacting owners on which evacuation site your dog is being houses a, and if possible ask to pick them up.

We are open 7 days a week, including holidays.

Drop-off hours: 8:00AM- 6:00PM

Pick-up hours: 8:30AM - 7:00PM

We are located off of the 5 freeway off of Templin Hwy. We are just 6 miles North of the town of Castaic and 20 miles South of Frazier park.   

*Apple Maps (the GPS that comes with iPhones) will give you the wrong location!* We recommend using Waze or Google Maps. 

Apple Maps will auto change our street address to "Old Ridge Route Rd" showing our location 7 miles (20 minutes) deeper into the mountain). We've reported the error serval times but they have't fixed it.
